About us
Owner Jeff Jones has spent his entire life perfecting the maple syrup process. Learning the process on his father's small maple farm, Jeff has over five decades of maple syrup experience...

The Jones Farm
Jeff harvests sap from over 400 maple trees on the Jones' 17-acre farm in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Using mostly plastic tubing to collect sap from sugar maple trees, the sap flows downhill to large 200 gallon holding tanks. This sap is transported to Jeff's sugar shed which contains a state of the art stainless steel evaporator. Sap is boiled over a wood stove until it is finished and canned at this location.
Between Two Rivers
Jeff's unique business name stems from the geographical location of his maple farm. The Jones property sits on a hill 8 miles southeast of Wellsboro. Water drained on the west side of the Jones hill, travels into a tributary of Babb's creek which flows into Pine Creek and then into the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. Water drained on the east side of the Jones hill travels into Elk Run which flows into the Tioga River and then into the Main Branch of the Susquehanna River. These two branches meet 75 miles south outside Sunbury, PA. The same water which helps our maple trees grow can take vastly different paths across Central Pennsylvania depending on which side of our farm it lands on.
Where To See Us
We are located 8 miles southeast of Wellsboro in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Jeff is busy during the summer, fall and winter collecting firewood for his wood-fueled evaporator, laying new sap lines and improving existing lines, and selling maple products at the Wellsboro Farmers Market and Mansfield Growers Market. During spring the sap starts flowing and Jeff is busy collecting, boiling and canning maple syrup.
